eCommerce Copywriter – Crate and Barrel (Northbrook) Crate and Barrel Create compelling original web content, working with internal stakeholders in Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Legal and eCommerce. Adapt, edit, proofread and traffic existing marketing copy to support online branding efforts (includes home page, themes, custom landing pages and banner content). Collaborate with Brand Manager and eCommerce Visual Designers to integrate copy into designs. Collaborate with eCommerce Brand Merchant and Site Merchants to deploy and proofread content updates to desktop and mobile websites. Collaborate with eCommerce Product Copywriter to deliver consistent product stories and messaging to all customers. Develop operational and transactional copy for the website, as needed. Write digital content in the brand voice (approachable, engaging, clear, contextual, customer-centered, action-oriented). Assist in developing content for social media or email landing pages, in collaboration with eCommerce or marketing designers and social media lead, as needed. Maintain the brand integrity and voice throughout the eCommerce site and in other vehicles. Collaborate with internal search engine optimization experts to adapt copy as needed. Collaborate with Editors and Legal Department to develop legal terms and conditions content for promotional offers. Collaborate with the Creative Director, Editors, Designers, Art Directors, Production, Merchandising team and Product Managers to translate marketing strategy into creative content for all retail channels.
