earlier this week, Assemblymember Richard N. Gottfried,and I, along with Senator Mark Grisanti, sent a letter to Governor Andrew Cuomo and Acting Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, asking them to explore expediting access for Medical Marijuana for certain patients. in particular, the children who are suffering from Dravets Syndrome and other severe forms of Epilepsy. we are happy to announce the Governor is doing just that. Thank you, Governor Andrew Cuomo! a special thank you to Wendy Conte, who tragically lost her daughter, Anna on July 4th. she put her grief on hold to advocate for this directly.
