emergency, please share HELP! Abandoned HUGE orange cat turned into our Petsmart on Saturday from CLAYTON COUNTY. The woman was told by volunteers there if she turned the cat into their animal control, it would be euthanized. She was turned down by a rescue at Petsmart in Clayton & somehow directed to our volunteers in McDonough who did not want to risk him being turned loose in the parking lot. We really need HELP ASAP finding a home or rescue for this 18 lb neutered young male as he does not like to be caged. His original owner was single mom w/ 4 kids escaping an abusive relationship--left her cat w/ neighbor whose 10 yr old has medical condition so they could not allow the cat indoors. Simba kept running inside their home & is very friendly lapcat. 2 months went by & original owner finally admitted she could not take Simba back. The other foster volunteers with our rescue are still dealing with felines w/ multiple health issues removed from a former foster so we do not have room anywhere for him. He will be combotested, vaccinations updated today and he needs to MOVE ASAP. He cannot stay where he is. Begging the volunteers & networkers in this group for HELP-have other photos to be shared. Thank you! Here is Simba w/ Bobby who took pity on the poor fellow but he absolutely cannot bring him home either. Simba loves to give head-butts!
