In the city of Aleppo an amount of $168 438 was given to repair 18 schools that include 280 classrooms and can accommodate 14,776 students. The funds were also used provide heating for the classrooms and for granting bonuses to fifty teacher for six months in all the schools. The coordination unit support of the coalition in cooperation with the Qatari government, gave one million U.S. dollars to the Ministry of Education in the temporary Syrian government to print two million textbooks and are now working on their distribution.
