esta es la información hasta hoy del DMV DMV Releases AB 60 Implementation Statistics Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) today released preliminary statistics on the progress of implementing Assembly Bill 60 (AB 60) – the new law requiring DMV to issue a driver license to applicants who can prove identity, California residency, and can meet all other testing requirements. Daily Totals: 17,900 – Number of Driver License applicants seen on Monday, January 5, 2015 11,100 – Number of Driver License applicants seen on Saturday, January 3, 2015 17,200 – Number of Driver License applicants seen on Friday, January 2, 2015 Total number of AB 60 applicants seen since Friday, January 2, 2015: 46,200 The following Statistics are from Friday, January 2, 2015: Pass/Fail Statewide Average for English Tests: 54% Pass/46% Fail Pass/Fail Statewide Average for Spanish Tests: 36% Pass/64% Fail Pass/Fail Average for the four Driver License Processing Centers: 36% Pass/64% Fail Total number of applicants to receive a driver license: 970 The DMV will release updated AB 60 statistics each Tuesday. The DMV has a helpful AB 60 information webpage, ab60.dmv.ca.gov, containing a complete list of acceptable documents that can be used to verify identity and residency, a copy of the driver handbook, sample knowledge tests, appointment information, and other helpful materials. Anyone applying for a first time driver license is required to make an appointment, unless they plan on visiting one of four Driver License Processing Centers where walk-in customers are accepted. Online appointments can be scheduled as far as 90 days in advance at dmv.ca.gov or by calling 1-800-777-0133.
