evening #4 and next day # 5 - Arrivederci Rome! Before I sneaked into my room, I ended my day #4 in a bar nextdoor. When I finally climbed to the 4th floor - I just undressed and put my head to the pillow and started to dream about the next day when I had to leave to Florence. My sleep was quite deep, untill my roomie woke at 7...I was really happy that I had a possibility to sleep a lilttle bit more than 10.30. After 4 glasses of wine I was extratired! I started tp pack my backback and at this time I didn´t leave anything. The cleark was an amazing - she made some coffee for me that I can get my brains to work. That´s what I can call an excellent hosting!!! when it was time to leave, she took me downstairs by lift - you had to pay 5 cents for using the lift, but she offered me that ride. If you are reading this - grazie mille!!! Details later... I really hated my backbag and handbag and I was starving and my cigarrets were almost gone so my morning ( at 12.30) wasn´t that great. I neede more coffee and something to eat. Walking through via Cavour I found nice place (I thought) and I had some coffee and very delicious of pizza - probably the best ever eaten! The bottom was crispy and the filling was tasty and juicy. and the size was ...too much so i asked to pack the rest. I could have it later. BTW this was the restaurant where I finally got a MUG of coffee....They didn´t bring a cheque to the table, so I had to go pay it inside. I left my bags beside of my table and left also my cup of coffee there as a sign that I will come back to finish it. Unfortunately when I returned, my mug was missing and the waiter was hurrying me out. My pleasant moment there was ruined...:-/ I went inside to insist my mug, had it quickly and left the restaurant and did´t tip. Good pizzas and tasty coffee served in right size mug - I loved it! But the service....poor :-/ I suppose that maybe that I am a bagpacker and wore like a traveller I deserved only poor service! I found this around in Italy in several cafeterias and restaurants - so I think the restaurant owners should provide the workers some education, what is a true customer service. I am sorry Rome that I have to say this :-/ Thank heavens - in the hostels and some other restaurants it was not like that and I was provided really good and friendly customer service! Some people just know what it is it by treating their customers as a part of family or at least the close friends. That´s a true hospitality! I was out of the cigarrets and hurried buy a box. In taly they are sold in a tabacchi-stores (usually open till 8 pm) and in automat. I went to buy a box and tried to use my card. Mission impossible - buying by using your credit card you can buy oinly 10 boxes box. If you want to buy less, you have to use cash, so then I neede to find an ADM where to draw some cash. It wasn´t that far, but carrying backbag at the same, I started to be pi... o.. My last destination was Vatican and St Peter´s square and the cathedral. I went to piazza Venezia to waiting for my bus to get Vatican and I waited...at least an half hour or even more. I was wearing black clothes, I carried heavy bags and the sun started to shine. I didn´t feel comfortable at all. I was really happy when the bus finally arrived, I jumped in and started the rest of my tour in Rome.
