every moment of our lives is important. every moment has meaning, and teaches a lesson. not just the good moments, but the bad moments as well. one wouldnt think that the bad moments were important, and some wouldnt think it taught them anything of real value. if fact, most people would opt to forget them. they dont want to think about it anymore, or acknowledge it even happened. but we actually can benefit from them. the Lord is there for every moment of our lives, good and bad, and in each He teaches us something valuable about them. even the bad moments can be used by Him for good. He didnt create them, but He will show us through them how to be stronger. through them He shows us how to face the hardships of life, so that when they come again, we can boldly stand against them and be better equipped to handle them. and because of that we also gain wisdom, and maturity. through those experiences we become a braver, stronger, and wiser person that is better able to stand firm against the evils of this world, and overcome them so that they dont interfere with the joy that the Lord wishes us to have in this life. no one wants to have to go through bad things, and the Lord doesnt want us to either, but if we do, let us not allow them to take us down. instead, let us remain strong and be thankful, for through the experience, as long as we have faith and trust in the Lord, we will come out of it a stronger, and wiser, person than when we went in. and that by no means is a bad thing. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, amen. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because Gods love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.-Romans 5:3-5(ESV) 2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.-James 1:2-4(NLT) 12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christs sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” 19 Therefore let those who suffer according to Gods will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.-1 Peter 4:12-19(ESV) 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.-2 Corinthians 4:8-10(ESV) I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”-John 16:33(ESV) He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”-Revelation 21:4(ESV)
