every now and again, we get the wool pulled over our eyes by some - TopicsExpress

every now and again, we get the wool pulled over our eyes by some one. we get tricked into believing something, or allow ourselves to believe something we know deep down isnt true. I know in the past that Ive, because I wanted someone to love, allowed myself to be decieved by women into believing they were a good person. and that they liked me. and as a result they used my kindness, and good nature to manipulate me. to get me to buy things for them. and as a result, when they were done having their fun, I ended up being discarded and hurt. but, the one good thing to come from it all, is that I gained wisdom. Ive learned each time what to look out for, and to get out of the situation. now admittedly I still tend to fall for it. so Im still learning obviously, lol. but nonetheless I am becoming better at spotting the fakes quicker and getting away. because through the bad, the Lord is giving me wisdom. He is showing me His truth, and opening my eyes to what is good, and what is evil. He is rescuing me from getting hurt even worse from staying with these women. and He is making me wiser and stronger. now all I have to do is listen better so that I can avoid these problems altogether. lol. so, the thing is my friends. when we are unsure of what to do. or if we are in a situation where we are not making the best choices, and allowing ourselves to be decieved. we need to turn to God. we need to seek His wisdom. we need to ask Him for His clarity. and to show us the way and the truth. so that we will not fall victim to things that will only hurt us. and when we do, we recieve knowledge that is greater than the worlds. and our minds and eyes are opened to a truth that no evil can hide. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.-James 3:17(ESV) The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.-Proverbs 12:15(ESV) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.-Proverbs 9:10(ESV) My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, 2 making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; 3 yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, 4 if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;-Proverbs 2:1-6(ESV)
