excerpt from my MLK Observance Speech(2)- We as military must take up the mantle and ensure that this generation of Leaders, civilians, and Soldiers remember that it’s not about the color of a person’s skin, it’s not about gender stereotypes, and it’s not even about what a person can do for us. It is about what we can accomplish together, it is about creating an environment where lives are changed, growth is fostered and it is still about each of us being defined by the content of our character.
