f you pray, to whom do you pray? Should you pray to stone statues? Should you pray to dead men they call saints? Maybe you should listen to some television evangelist who tells you to feed his wallet and he will pray for you because he has good connections? Should we pray to god? If yes, then which god? Jupiter, Theos (Theology), Thor (Thursday), Circe (Church), Janus (the double headed god of January), Woden (the god Wednesday is named for), Saturn, Taurus, Nike, etc. etc? Who will you serve? Will it be Zeus, Ea Zeus, Iesous, Jesus? Who? Will your faith be based in truth or error? How many more gods will your mother, the Church, lead you to?
