The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) is pleased to announce the following award for which candidates must be nominated. Each eligible institution may nominate only one candidate. 2015 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Endowment Fund for Study in a Second Official Language Award Field of Study: All disciplines, except translation. Value: $7,000 CAD, plus certain travel costs. Number of Awards: Up to three (3) awards at the bachelor’s degree level. Duration: One year, non-renewable. New in 2014: Allophone candidates are eligible. Deadline date: Postmarked application packages must be sent to the AUCC no later than December 9, 2014. N.B. Applicants: Please note that the deadline date is the date by which your application must be submitted to the AUCC. Please contact your institution to verify their deadline for nomination requests. It is incumbent on applicants to ensure that they submit their application to their nominating university well in advance of the AUCC deadline date. This will ensure that their institution has sufficient time to forward the application to the AUCC within the timelines.
