fcc.gov/comments Go there. Leave a comment about protecting the Open Internet. John Olivers plea had crashed their system, but its back up and working now. Go. Do it. Heres what I wrote: The issue at hand regarding the Internet is this: do we, as an industrious and creative nation, continue to allow the Internet to function in the same way that has allowed for its incredible growth, prosperity, and the betterment of all human kind? Or do we allow only the richest corporations to create a pay-for-access model that favors established companies over the entrepreneurial and imaginative spirit of America? No one wants these so-called fast lanes except for the cable companies. No one wants them so much so that the cable companies are creating fake astroturf consumer outrage groups to lambast net neutrality. And they do this because they are losing. They are a dying format who, much like the music industry before them, would rather burn everything to the ground and take us with them rather than quietly figure out a way to adapt to a changing technological landscape. Dont do this. Stop. Please. The Internet as it is works fine. Better than fine. Theres nothing like it in the history of humanity. Dont let the greed of 20th century cable companies destroy decades worth of hard, ingenious work of millions of people. LEAVE THE INTERNET ALONE.
