fear creeps around: Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Comment; God speaking to noah; all life other than man will fear you, the animals, the birds, and all the fish. Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. our blood that is in our vascular system is the life that sustains our flesh; we are commanded not to drink blood. Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. Comment: The word of God appears to men in visions, and dreams, and the hearing of the preached word; abram who became abraham was told by God in a vision not to fear because God is like abram is our shield and is a reward that to me is so vast it is incomprehensible. Gen 42:18 And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God: Comment: Joseph talking to his brothers tells them he fears God, which in reality causes all other fear to be irrelevant: the fear of the Lord is: Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Comment: to hate evil- which is pride and arrogancy-which is the evil way and the froward mouth, always relating to man’s own self, as look at me i am; there is only one I Am and that is Jesus, we are nothing but are made something when we obey his word, especially the gospel: Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The gospel is acts 2:38. Froward mouth, speaking perversity, a deceitful tongue. I don’t tell people i am proud of them; i tell them i am happy with them. Gen 46:3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: Comment: when God give his people direction never fear taking it, for it is the Way Called Holy a path the demonic spirits of hell can not find; a place of safe travel for the church. When we put the gospel of the preparation of peace we are then entitled to walk on the Way Called Holy. The gospel the death, burial and resurrection found in acts:2:38 prepares us for eternal peace in God’s home allowing us to follow peace with all men and holiness. Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Exo 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Comment: moses was the human leader spiritually for the jews, an ambassador from God; if one stands still and opens his spiritual eyes he will see salvation; opening spiritual eyes comes from obeying the word of God; on the day of salvation we will never see the forces of the house of the angel of death again. Exo 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place suchover them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: Comment: the way one can discern if one fears God: 1. they are a person of truth. 2. they hate jealousy and envy, never desiring what others have. Exo 20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. Comment: we are going to be tried by the circumstances we are in; are we worthy, or unworthy; do we walk the walk, or do we talk the walk. Exo 23:27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. Comment: God will put fear in our enemies, and in his time he will destroy them. Lev 19:14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD. Comment: To curse is to separate from God forever; the deaf and the blind are those who have not obeyed the gospel; to curse someone who is deaf, people who either have not heard the word of God, or refuse to believe in what they have heard is a place that is left to God. we are not to judge people as being worthy of separation from God. The blind are the ones who don’t see the truth, or refuse to see it because it is not conducive to their lifestyle. A stumbling block can cause someone to trip, fall, and die, spiritually, by presenting untruth as truth; making up your own religion, or what you think the bible says. Lev 25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God. Comment: oppression, repression and depression when it comes to how your treat your neighbor is inherently evil; by fearing God we hate these aspects of evil. Lev 25:36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. Comment: don’t charge the body of the church interest for what you have loaned them, this enables you to live in peace with your brother. Lev 25:43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God. Comment: don’t rule over people with cruelty, harshness, or severity-rigour. Next part two
