Is this the place that our local food bank takes the left over donations from? They need a human to answer the phone. A food bank in an adjoining county was more than willing to answer the phone and accept my donation. I wanted it to go here, not there. I ran into this problem before.....from now on I will simply find a hungry family and give it to them. My digressions is good, I dont want a tax credit. I just thought helping was better than complaining. Thanksgiving is coming and I try to provide a family with food for that day knowing children expect to see a turkey or they feel bad. It shouldnt be hard to give food away. Heres the problem, sometimes solving a problem includes pointing it out. I eat cheap, many people on assistance wouldnt eat as I do. I eat to live, not live to eat.
