feeling discouraged after tonight! I am not sure I am going to get my competitive winterguard at Sandwich High School! Believe me I understand fully! The Music association literally covers almost all of the cost of the music department with little to no school support! But all the same it is depressing that a program can suffer because of money issues! I said my piece and provided my suggestions to this association! Now lets see if I can keep this successful program growing! They were asking me if I would stay if we remained as a no cost exhibition unit during the winter............SO FRUSTRATING! I really get it about the money. I now understand why suburban schools get all of the breaks! ...........THEY have all of the money! Time to retire!
