feeling simultaneously deep cavernous loneliness and also strong peaceful freedom as I am experiencing the release and shifting of some personal friendships of mine, some of them expanding and growing more rich and fertile, and others sadly contracting and quietly drifting away in the normal way that friendships do, they dont always age gracefully or prosper infinitely, through the time and space and triumphs and tragedies and heartache and healing of a friendships life span, sometimes they just stop thriving, and its ok to let go, to outgrow each other. Its never easy to feel yourself growing apart from someone you have cleaved to, its a particular heartbreak to softly lose a friend you once cherished, but its a part of womanly life, this growth, and there is a freedom in honoring yourself enough to walk away.
