final score 34-27, Zeeland West ends Dewitts bid for a perfect season.......CLOSE, but NO CIGAR!!!...DAMN!!!.....the PANTHERS outscored Zeeland 20-6, in the second half, but dug themselves too deep of a hole in the 1st half, to overcome....maybe next year, with another year of maturity, their ALL STATE QUARTERBACK, Jacob JOHNSON will come out with his gun blazing, instead of awestruck by his surroundings...he had 1 interception all season, but then threw 2 in the 1st half of this game, and the team, as a whole, was pushed around by Zeeland the whole 1st half....then, when DEWITT realized they were getting their ass whooped, by a lesser team, they showed some pride and controlled the 2nd half, but too little, too late!!!....sooo, as the saying goes, WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR....I expect to see DEWITT back at the FORD, and NEXT YEAR ready to play TOUGH from the opening kickoff!!!.....a 13-1 season is a GREAT season, but its NOT as GREAT as 14-0, and STATE CHAMPS!!!
