finished reading the Hellsing manga last night now some of you may disagree with how I felt about it and thats fine An army of Catholics from the vatican killing protestants 50 years after world war 2 Invade London A Natzi vampire platoon 50 years after world war 2 Invade London A secret protestant organization esssentially has Saten working for them Some bullshit allusion to Dracula in both directly and alternative ways ( vanhellsing etc killed Dracula but only managed to challenge Alucard HES MORE OP THAN DRACULA GUYS OC DO NOT STEAL) Some Bullshit allusion to someone actually being shrondingers cat which is dumb but then it is used to kill the unkillable guy WHO IT DOESNT KILL BTW Why is victoria even a character? Why are there even werewolves? Why is being a virgin even a neccesary detail about being a vampire? Why does the author think someone can even share properties of shrodingers cat outside of a hypothetical? Why does it make nonsense references to some other classic horror things Why does the author have episodic clashes of characters but then just dives into a war where every page is throats getting ripped out and barely anything happens for the last 2/3 of the series? How is there any drama when ever scene with tension eventually ends with Alucard deciding to "try a lil bit" release seals or some crap and turn into evil blob and then auto wins every conflict? Etc etc Hellsing is painful Hellsing is suffering
