first, a customer tries to return a TV. Its a 46 flat panel Samsung on the box, the box looks IMMACULATE! Like its NEVER BEEN TOUCHED! She meticulously reapplied the tape to the box so well it would fool most. Policy is to OPEN IT UP, so I open it up, and first thing I notice is it isnt a 46 flat panel in the box, its a 39. Then I notice the vents on the top rear of the TV are DUSTY AS HELL!!! So Im already like this is some bullshit but then I smelled WEED coming from the vents, its like the TV was in a hot box. Then I pulled it out the box, notice theres no remote, no instructions, no power cord, the power cord input on the TV is totally dusty, the back is beate up, and then I see it.... ...the almost-perfect job of reapplying the serial number sticker to the back! Only things that alerted me were the small bubble in the sticker and the way one of the corners kept coming back up. She used a hair dryer to remove and apply the sticker to the new tv. I said maam, WHEN did you buy this TV? she said this morning! I looked at the lady at the returns desk and she dropped her head. I told her shes going to have to take this TV back to the store she got it from because this is not the same TV. She didnt get upset, she didnt get mad, she took the TV back, took it with her to her car saying shell head back to the other store to return it, then she left. I called all the local stores in the area to warn them about what shes trying to do. She thought she was slick! Next a customer walks up and asks me do yall sell lab top chargers? I confirmed that we did, he pulls this trash bag open and shows me this laptop that had the WINDOWS 95 LOGO ON IT! The thing was HUGE! I havent seen a laptop that damn big in AGES! I told him I think its time for a new one! He said I just need a charger, it works fine!!!! so I showed him the charger, he saw the 60 dollar price tag. Then he says so when I hook this up, Ill be able to get the internet right? I said no, thats just a charger, it keeps the battery working (meanwhile Im thinking IF its still any good anyway!) and I told him hed have to call comcast or AT&T. He said what about one of these hot spots I keep hearing about? I told him how it worked, then explained that his computer is too old for it, it doesnt have built in wi-fi, and the USB dongles dont support anything before Windows ME (malfunction edition). Hed have to use a regular RJ-45 AKA ethernet cord to get it online. He says Comcast too high, I aint trying to pay that! Obviously not coming up in here with that big ass computer!!! WTF is wrong with people these days?!?!
