fished the sucky flats all day with a guy named Josh...poor guy had east wind constantly in the face and as east wind days go it was tough to buy a fish, any fish except sharks...once again in the darkest hr at the end the water suddenly starts churning ahead and mud is fresh ...PERMIT POD dead ahead...big black cloud underwater and the permit are stacked and frantic...I lock onto them fast and Josh is shooting from the hip..how he didnt come tight several times is a bitter pill to swallow, the kind that could make a guy quit because I dont know what else he could have done...after a solid dozen or more shots they dissolved into nothing
