flbr.org/Luna Update from Luna! We still have some more money to raise for her surgery! Please donate if you can.. I got to spend half the day with Wonder Woman! Actually, her name is Valerie and she is a superhero to dogs like me. She is a physical therapist and had me work my leg muscles and joints in something called the Tank. The Tank was scary at first - it was filled with water up to my knees and somehow the floor started moving. Im not sure how Wonder...I mean, Valerie, made that happen - but I learned really fast that to keep upright, I had to walk...and walk...and walk. Whew...it was a workout! But it felt good on my back leg. Finally....we got to stop and I got to rest. Only then was I told Id have another session in the afternoon! At this rate - Ill be ready for an Iron Dog competition. During my break, I learned about other Florida Boxer Rescue dogs have received amazing treatment - and lives who were saved by the team at Specialized Veterinary Services. Sweet Sadie, Lilo, Pepper...just to name a few. Im in great hands and a very lucky girl..no doubt about it. Ill wrap it up for now. Im very tired after my workouts today, but my leg feels great!
