For someone to be found guilty a jury must all say that he/she is guilty. This stops the government from forcing a verdict that they want. the prosecution must also prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person committed the crime. This is the system that is set up. If you dont like it we can go back to the days where people did not have fair trials and where a lynch mob can hang a person. If you dont like it take action and talk to you state and local representatives about changing the laws. This is why we live in a Democracy.
