for eternity is a long time to live my eyes have grown weary of looking upon the face of the strife of life that has invaded my sacred space within and without i have sought out the Spice of Life throughout my journey only to have her flee from me time and time again every time i capture her essence she melts away as if that is her duty to duly entice me to chase her enigma this keeps me seeking the flavor which is leaking from my embrace time and time again i still savor the taste of when she was here with me though all so brief upon the road to all that is where lies this vagrant Soul’s relief my beliefs are strong . . i believe i have conjured and conceived many a way where this day i have captured Her would never end i saw my self reflectively peeking in to her Holy Chamber of promise where her smiles anointed my dreams and my fanciful wantings of being fulfilled and all i saw were pictures of my memories hung upon her walls so i paused in that stilled moment in this stilled eternity to feel her warmth once again for it appeared that was all she would allow me to keep i weep inside like most for absolution may not be the reward for he who discovers and finality to this inane reality and the Lorde speaks a strange tongue that men deludedly interpret in their own ways molding the clays in their own images and now that i have excised for the moment this Demon i needed i created i gave breath to that i may validify these tears that temporally washes away the fears as the years progressively evolve i question all things accept all things for it is all but my illusion is it not the strife the joy are but games i deploy to keep my self occupied for eternity is a long time to live © 28 January 2014 : william s. peters, sr. iamjustbill
