for lauren--- You hummed to the tune on the radio, you had no idea what was being played you just liked the beat. You picked up the toys of the floor from your niece and nephew before lobbing them into the coloured boxes on the floor. your mum- put them back nicely you sighed and rolled your eyes as you picked up the car and slowly walked across the room and placed it on the other toys lightly before walking back over. your mum-go on get dressed i will sort this you smiled and bolted up the stairs, your boyfriend Niall was coming over to meet your parents tonight and you were petrified. he was coming over in just over a hour and you had to get dressed and do your hair yet, you grabbed the dress you brought out of your wardrobe and laid it on the bed. you quickly ran through to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. You had to drag yourself out in the end, you ran back through to your room and quickly got dried before slipping on the dress. You plugged in your curlers before switching on the tv and blasting the radio. Once the curlers were heated you started to loosly curl your hair. You were just done when you heard the door knock down stairs. you-hes here your voice went really high, you slapped your hand over your mouth and got a hold of yourself. You opened the door and made your way out of your room. you-ashley! ashley-what you-you coming down or staying up here he shrugged. you-suit yourself you really did have a love,hate relationship with your brother. you made your way downstairs to be met with those blue eyes that took your breath away. niall-you look amazing you felt your cheeks blush, you diverted your eye contact to the floor and took a deep breath, it wasnt just what he said it was the accent that made your legs go in to jelly. you-dont look to bad yourself he winked at you as you looked the irish lad up and down, pretty much checking him out. your mum-come on then the food will be going cold you-oh yeah this way you signalled for him to follow you. ------------------------------------------- you were soon all sat down eating. there was a minimal convosation around the table, you kept seeing your dad giving niall the evils he was so childish! you continued eating, once you finished you placed your knife and fork on your plate. You had been surprised that Niall hadnt sworn the whole evening you couldnt help be proud. the silence was so awkward and annoying. you-so erm mum can we go upstairs? your mum looked at you, like she knew you were playing with fire. you- so... your mum-okay but plates in the sink niall got up and took your plate before putting them in the sink. niall-erm nice to meet you mr and mrs johnson he stumbled and stutered over his words as he spoke, out of the corner of your eye you saw your dad stand up, here you go you thought. your dad-nialll niall swallowed hard as he turned round to look at him. niall-yes sir your dad-no funny busniess okay lad he pointed at him, niall nodded, you could see the fear behind his eyes. You took his hand and led him upstairs you could tell your dad was intimidating him. you brang him to your room and signalled for him to sit. you-you okay he nodded. you-hes just being protective ignore him. he nodded once again before grabbing one of your guitars of the side, he started to play singing to you. niall-join in you sighed as you grabbed the other guitar and joined in, as you finished you looked at niall grinning at you. you-why you looking at me niall-cause your the best thing that ever happened to me and i love you -hannah malik
