for sale or swap either as it sits or with 12 months mot and engine will need running in Vauxhall chevette 2dr saloon 1983 it failed an mot not long ago! it sadly did not succeed in getting an mot as I expected as it does still need some work but dont let this put you off its one hell of a car. I have taken the engine and gearbox out as there was an oil seal gone in the box wich we discovered on mot so I have removed both engine and box.. I have fitted new seals and gaskets to the gearbox and gave it a paint so thats done... the engine is on my engine stand as a bare block with only the crack and pistons in it... I have everything else to complete it but I am just giving it a paint... I have all new gaskets and engine bolts in stainless steel allen key head type... the engine and gearbox is 100% working I was driving it before I removed it. you can see videos of it driving on request or look on my facebook page... my name is tarran trevaskis . RUNNING GEAR I have fitted a 205 block ford pinto, lightened and balanced, lightened flywheel, bored out with oversized pistons, skimmed head with uprated valve springs,motorcraft electronic ignition, new plugs, cam belt, aux belt, remote oil filter set up ,accurspark leads, ported and polished inlet with a 38dgas carb. if it sold when finished will have all new gaskets and bolts and will need running in. 5 speed type 9 gearbox (all new oil seals and gaskets custom propshaft standard rear axel welded diff SHELL rear wheel arches replaced rolled and flared fibre glass front wings (not the best fit) nose cone not great currently ratty not finished phase 1 metel handles and vents INTERIOR have a brand new unboxed 2 temp gauge to be fitted) opel cadette c in black hatchback interior modified buy fitting different rear fire wall with matching cards standard clock with blue led parrelel circuit back lighting 4 rev gauge with shift light (needs mounting better) modified handbrake (bit close to passanger seat) re fabricated tunnel to fit new gearbox no carpet or roof lining WHEELS minilights 13x7 et- (-7) front tyres - 165/55/13 rears- 175/70/13 also have a full set of 14 mazda alloys with tyres loads of spare wheels with tyres OTHER custom big gear stick (ignis pry bar) custom fitted mazda 628 master cylinder (need a brake bias valve in the rear line to stop back brakeing at same rate) 4 2 pods on passenger side facing driver (no gauges yet) brand new lower arm and ball joint has led panelled front sidelight masked front lights chrome door handles inside and out phase 1 side vents custom made stainless steel exhaust system with back box only and rolled tip electric fan on a switch deep dish steering wheel with mk1 escort boss have a brand new alloy center consol (to fit this you will have to do without heaters) new stubby led rear numberplate light BAD BITS passanger rear inner arch body work need finishing rad needs mounts rear spring pan on axel welding.. but do have another axel need shorter shocks to stop springs coming loose when jacked up no carpets no roof lining needs air filter hazards flash dim SPARES original 1.3 block and loads of engine components full rear axel steel wheels and tyres set of mx5 alloys front and back anti roll bars springs have some bumpers but not great some interior spairs rear boot lid probs some missed MOT list: handbrake wires run on floor (due to no carpet) NOWDONE wires in engine bay need tidying NOW DONE noisy exhaust ball joint cover split(have a brand new ball joint and cover) front anti roll bar missing (I have a few) needs shorter shocks all round wings missing a couple bolts (10mm) NOW DONE 3ft gear stick welding to inner n/s rear arch and spring pan as said this car did drive and is awesome I do have videos on request and loads of photos the car is located in connor downs cornwall and will need transported away.. would sell for £2000 ono as it stands or 2800 with 12 months mot
