for those of you interested.... My grandson is a kidney cancer survivor... Although he only has one kidney he is a normal active boy... He goes for a full work up examine at least twice a year... For the past three visits they have been watching his one existing kidney function that has been concerning.... Today they told my daughter that Gavin has Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 2... this means that his kidney is not totally functioning normally and they are wanting to try to keep it from getting worse... This is something that he will live with all of his life... When he hits stage 5 is when they will start kidney dialysis and possible kidney transplant... Please keep this Strong Willed Boy and his family in your prayers.... Thank you
