for what it may be worth: all of what is happening in the current israeli/palestinian situation is disgusting to me, all of it should make compassionate human beings weep, all of it is deeply, deeply ironic in its religious reference points, all of it stems from two groups of people having been brutalized and oppressed for a long time, all of it is played out in a part of the world that has been raped and pillaged, colonized and invaded, occupied and manipulated by the imperialism of the west for at least two hundred years, all of it makes me sick, all of it expresses the unresolved shadow of our core humanity, and all human beings in the situation or feeling affected by it, regardless of their ideology, faith or even their actions have my best wishes that they find peace, relief from suffering and a way to be in the loving bosoms of their families tonight.
