friends, can yall join me in prayer... I have been struggling bc I strive to homeschool, discipline, teach, guide, love, play with my kids, AND have a clean house.... I am realizing that most things in life are give and take. I give away the quiet house and time to myself and clean house in order to take the time to grow my children in Godliness every second I can get for the whole day seven days a week. I trade in spotless floors to have the privelage of being my kids one and only teacher and to have the joy and blessings of seeing my kids have the aha moment when they understand a new concept in school. I trade in the time I could have to actually catch up on my laundry for the freedom that comes along with homeschooling to go to BSF and to read scripture to my kids and feed their souls and to discipline using scripture not just detention or timeouts. BUT I am slowly loosing peace bc I STILL want the emaculately clean house and spotless floors. PLEASE PRAY I WILL SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF WHAT I AM DOING IS IN THE KIDS AND NOT JUST A CLEAN HOUSE. not to say its not clean but just not spotless :) like I would like it to be.
