from FB message: Please share with anyone you know in North Dothan area. NEED RESUCE IMMEDIATELY AT THE REST AREA OF HWY 231. ALERT FOR DOGS DUMPED AT REST AREA on Hway 231. 10 miles NORTH of DOTHAN. I was contacted by someone who saw these dogs at a rest stop. She was unable to take them due to space in her vehicle. One is a grey pit mix and the other is black and white with longer fur.. maybe border mix. Has a weird spiked collar on?? Food was left for them and the people went to Petsmart in Dothan. Asked the rescue group there for help and the people at PS for help... even just who to call. No one wanted to help. The man at the rest stop said they were left, then someone came and got them, then they were brought back. They are FRIENDLY.... no pics available. Grey dog is probably around 50 pounds with Black and white bigger. IF YOU LIVE IN THIS AREA, PLEASE go check on these dogs... This is all the information i have on them. IF anyone can check and get pictures, that would be great.
