(from INBOX) Can you post this please? I was with my ex fiancé a year ago and began planning for the wedding. Once we found the venue, he made a $2,500 non refundable down payment with his credit card. A week later, he said he had to make the credit card payment in full, so he asked me for the cash to make the payment. I gave him $2,500 cash, and didnt think much of it because we were becoming one, blah blah blah. Months later, he cheated on me and I called the relationship off. Should I sue him for that $2,500?? It will be my word against his in court about me giving that money to him. My thought is to call him asking for the money first, but recording the conversation so I can use the recording in court. What are your thoughts?
