He is a Romance Scammer. Women beware!!! I have found 3 separate face book profiles of him. He goes by the name Nicholas Wells. One such face book profile states that he is from Colorado. Another states that he is from Orlando Florida and lastly from Whittier California. This is the same person. His scam is that he will tell you he is a petroleum gas Engineer (contractor). He will cry he needs money to meet his crude oil contract in Edinburgh Scotland. He will tell you he has mortgaged his home and all his funds are tied into this contract. He will tell you he is short of money and can you please help. He will ask you to wire money via money gram. He will ask you to wire money to accounts. He will ask you for personal account information, (for the purpose of having money transferred to your account to send on to him). Claiming he can’t access his own accounts because he has loans he is way over do on and doesn’t want this money frozen or taken from him. He will claim to be a widower and state that his late wife (Barbara) and daughter (Ashley) were in auto accident and died. He will claim to have one living elder daughter, Christine who resides in London UK. He is very skilled in his scamming Techniques. HE will claim to be on the verge of suicide and actually have people call or contact you and tell you that he attempted to hang himself due to the fact that he has lost everything that was tied into this business deal. He will stop at nothing to gain sympathy, and your money. He will claim he has no friends or family other than his only surviving daughter Christine. He will go on to tell you that he is living in the streets, and spending nights in a local pub to get off the streets at night. He will tell you that the bar owner took pity on him and is trying to help him get his certificate of clearance so that he can get back to the states. He speaks with a Nordic accent, yet claims to be born and raised in Colorado. Currently stranded in Edinburgh Scotland. I have recently found out who the pictures really belong to. They belong to Alex Pinto. Each photo on Alex Pinto’s face book page has been emailed and sent to my cell phone. I was scammed. I met “Nicholas Wells” on Christian Mingle on or about late March. I had NEVER been exposed to a Romance Scammer and I got one HELL of an education. One that I will never forget. “Nicholas Wells” continues to have 2 separate face book pages posted. He is still active and continues to have interaction with other women, despite the fact that I have reported him.
