from time immemorial we have been suffering from leadership deficiency while leaders with true patriotism are schemed out of the power game into obscurity. yester years while the north hold sway in leadership either by election or guns or through coups and counter coups, it has always been about their selfish benefits, Northern policies, northern agenda, they werent thinking Nigerian project and we know the rest of the story when they decided to step aside, it was still about their policies and agenda, they couldnt allow us to choose our democratically electable leaders; they choose one of their allies Obasanjo with their policies which gave birth to zoning, which simply means u rule and finish up and hand power over to us. Obasanjo got to power and started pursuing a southern agenda he never thought of Nigeria and the kingmakers were fast enough to form pressure groups such as Sharia and co to cow the federal government into their agreement and policies, such pressure groups took thousands of innocent lives of which its perpetrators are known and have not been brought to justice. the southern policies and agenda gave birth to a terror called third term agenda which was fought with great vigour before it could be annihilated i dont want to talk about yara dua of blessed memory who disrespected Nigerians so much so that he went ahead to use tax payers monies to re register Nigeria as an Islamic nation Then came the doctrine of necessity that ushered in GEJ and ever since then, we have been birthed and clothed with hatred which has been taken to a whole new dangerous dimension. and it amazes me that our leaders have all done an irreparable damage to our collective sense of nationhood so i urge any government coming in next year to make it a priority to unify all regions with a huge project called Nigeria so that by 2019 when another election will hold, Nigerians will not as much as care were our leaders come from, or which religion they profess or the language they speak.
