#gaza I really really long for 2 things - as stupid as it sounds - the first one is to swim in the sea- and the second one is to just be able to wander around on the farmlands here in the Gaza strip - but the reality is - the seawater is bad for us and to just roam around on your own here is just not possible..why the farmlands? Because aside the destruction, the smell of the air is better, not laced with a sewage smell, and also, there is beauty and i love the sky and sun set and this kind of thing....i also like the feeling of the earth on my bare feet....I wanna just have a deck chair and a book and kick back on my own loooool - i know i sound so ungrateful but i never deny the fact I am human. that I do have a desire for things as well......now the MAIN ISSUE of wondering around is that you could end up by the borders and have an Israeli issue .....they will see you, they will see a person not familiar to the region in the location and then continue to watch your every move, i mean they do this anyway, but then they have even more reason to if they do not recognise you too well, to know r not a native of the land.....so here in Gaza - there is NO PRIVACY, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LONESOME WALK AMONGST NATURE.....those damn Israelis are watching from everywhere.....be it by their drones or by their stations all set across the barriers....they watch your every move and then who knows what they would decide to do....i feel like this, but imagine for a Palestinian how it must feel who have been here in Gaza all their lives?
