#gazaunderattack My day - I went to Al Zawaida, which is in the Middle area of the Gaza strip, I met many families who are living in poverty, prior to the war and the after effects of the genocide has made things harder for the people. Took some photos and in shaa Allah, have a view to help some of the families in that area best I can. Then, I went to Masjid al Rahma in Nuseirat hussayni area to be precise as they need a new engine for the electricty, the one they have now , cannot handle the outage so they need something a bit more withstanding to make things easier. More to come on this in due time as I am now waiting for a quote on the cost price of this and will see how they can be helped by various donors. In shaa Allah. Thereafter, I went to Hamza Deirawi s home and met his family and had dinner with them. There was no electricity, so after tea, we went and sat outside in the garden in the dark and had dinner on the grass...it was too hot to be sat indoors wallah... (you can add Hamza and follow is amazing work in Gaza) Many of you may think Oh how nice to sit outside and have dinner... but really, no, this is not OK....why should they not have electricity like other people? The company was lovely, his family are wonderful, and his mum is really nice :) This is how ALL Palestinian families are actually. They really looked after me and I felt at home with such ease. We talked about all kinds of things including the war, the outcome, what they hoped for. His father spoke about his wish to return to their land which Israel has occupied over on the other side. This is something on the minds of many Palestinians here in Gaza....BUT NOWHERE IS THIS TO BE FOUND IN ANY AGREEMENT....THE RIGHT OF RETURN. So,.....IS AN EGYPTIAN BROKERED AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL GONNA CUT IT? Will the siege end? Will we get the basic human rights that the world has and takes for granted but deprives Palestinians of? Will it be enough? Whatever the outcome of the agreement, UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE, NOTHING WILL BE ENOUGH. And that , in a nutshell, is how it is.
