About 50% of our funding comes from ticket sales and tuition; the rest comes from donations. We aim to remove barriers to participation and make ballet accessible by keeping performance tickets and tuition class prices affordable to students and families; raising funds for school scholarships; providing free performances to the community; and offering free tickets to low-income youths and their families through non-profit partnerships. In addition, this fall we opened a second studio location in Saint Paul to provide a more comprehensive pre-professional training program and expand class options for our recreational program. We need donation dollars to help defray the costs of the studio build-out. With your gift, we can continue performances of beloved ballets, emerging contemporary choreographers, and explore collaborations to bring ballet to a broader audience.
