gm folks. the students of III sem B.A. exam at The M.S.University of Baroda were in for a sad surprise yesterday. they had interdisciplinary elective paper yesterday, where students opt for various subjects. the students who had opted for psychology and economics went beserk with worry. the paper presented to positive psychology II students was wrong, of the old syllabus. the fourth question weighing 25 marks was the difference and bone of contention. on realising, the staff changed the paper, but not in one room where only one student was seated. this lone student wondered where this question has been asked from, maybe he did not study properly. also, appreciated the prof for producing such twisted question. he did not attempt, losing 25 marks. later on talking to his batch mates he came to know the truth. he went to the concerned prof and the staff, in vain. the lady at the Dean,s office said that because he did not ask for it, it was not given to him, and the gentleman at the deans office asked, have you ever attended classes ? the point is why didnt the staff check the papers before sending to examination hall? why didnt the staff concerned realise that there is a student seated in a different room-block ? how can the staff shirk the responsibility of their negligence on to the student? and you know, the economics students got the paper on introduction to economic theory instead of fundamentals of underdeveloped and growth economy. imagine their plight, their paper was not at all changed. what will happen to these students now ? what are the employees of the university doing, playing with the future of the students? what if one of them is a ranker, misses the gold medal and a bright future?is this how the university/government meant to be shaping/moulding the yuvadhan of this country? i cant believe this is my university, the only independent university of this country having its own Chancellor. no one came to their rescue, the dean was not in the office, and the students union that waits for agitation topics was not to be traced....and you know, this III sem exam should have been conducted in Dec 2013 but are conducted now. when will the IV sem begin and end ?
