Why should mythical things like nativity scenes be on public property? Why should they keep insisting on having prayer in schools? Go into any school where a trig test is in progress and try to tell me theres no prayer in schools. ALL public property is secular, period. Rafael Cruz forgets that the United States is a SECULAR country. The people who first came here were trying to escape religious persecution, but then they persecuted others. That is the number ONE problem with some Christian denominations. In particular, Cruzs father preaches hate and simultaneously preaches that this is a Christian nation. NO, it is not, has never been and never will be. Cruz uses his Senate aids to make phone calls to line up engagements for his old man. Hes as big a crook as any other politician in our history. Id love to recall him. History of Prayer in Public Schools: It was NOT removed from schools, it was NEVER LEGAL. But did that bother the Christians who made it part of the school routine? Hell no! They just shoved it down the throats of children regardless of what THEY believed or what their parents believed. I am a Jew. My mother was a Jew. My father was a Jew. I do NOT participate in Christian prayer, yet I could either pray a Christian prayer or go out in the hall. I spent the first part of every damned day in the hall. If you dont think that it didnt make me a target for physical and mental abuse, yer nuts. So, Mr. Crazy Cruz...take your bigotry and shove it where the sun dont shine.
