good afternoon everyone, here is the two updated severe weather outlooks for this afternoon. on the right is the outlook for sunday afternoon and evening, there remains a slight risk for severe weather for much of central/east central as well as south central and some of southwest kansas. as storms develop they will have the potential to become strong to severe, the main threats from storms today continues to be large hail and strong winds the potential is still there for a few tornados possible so i cant rule that out still. on the left is the severe weather outlook for Labor Day, there remains a slight risk for severe weather for some of south central and southeast kansas. main threats from storms as they develop on monday would be large hail and strong winds, the tornado potential is low still at this time. i am working today from 4pm-10pm this evening so i will keep an eye on things as much as i can and may have an update around the 6 or 7pm hour this evening, so check back in when you can. the spc is watching an area over northern kansas and south central/central Nebraska for a likelihood of a severe weather watch to be issued soon, i will have that out next. brad
