Northeast | View Regional Video - Warm temperatures will prevail across the region today. - Todays highs will generally be in then 80s to around 90, 5-10 degrees above average for most. - Much of the area will be dry today, but a few thunderstorms could work their way northward from the Virginias to western Maryland. - Friday will be mainly dry but temperatures and humidity levels will be higher. - Thunderstorms will occur across much of the region Saturday as a cold front moves through but the front will break the back of the heat. - Cooler and drier air return to the region for Sunday and Monday.
