Snow will be accumulating across much of Nebraska to South Dakota and Minnesota Monday. Forecast snowfall generally in the 5-8 range from northeast Nebraska to southeast South dakota (mostly low population areas. A bit of freezing rain/drizzle over parts of eastern Nebraska until midday Monday (west of Omaha). and some wind gusts to 35 mph. Lighter amounts for late Monday to Tuesday from South Dakota into Minnesota. This storm will most likely NOT be named. Twin Cities will see rain changing to snow by Monday night with only about 1 or less expected. Parts of northern Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan could see a snowfall up to 4 Tuesday and Tuesday night (locally 5+ near Lake Superior). Higher elevations of northern New York and northern New England will then see some light amounts of snow Tuesday night (some wintry mix at lower elevations). (POLL: What Cities Will See a White Christmas?) More southern Cascades/Sierra Snow A couple of Pacific systems will affect the area through midweek. The first system will spread snow into higher elevations of southern Oregon and northern California late Monday/Tuesday. Snow levels could dip below 4,000 feet. Another system moves in for the Tuesday night-Wednesday time frame. These systems will be rather tame as compared to the most recent storm. Snowfall 12+ possible above 7000 feet at higher elevations and 5-8 down to 5000 feet. Another system will roll in on Friday but snowfall will probably be lighter. Late Week/Weekend Storm Models still differ on this event but there will be a storm system crossing the South on Friday and Saturday. The South will see rain and thunderstorms but the northern edge of this system could see snow and a wintry mix. The European model suggests a wintry mix in the Kansas/Missouri area Friday with snow spreading from southern Missouri through the Ohio Valley to western Virginia Friday night/Saturday. GFS model shows a weaker storm (with light snow farther north). Snowfall accumulations should be light to moderate at best.light rain diffrent parts of those area canada and usa and mexcio 30-40% chance of light rain 1-3 inches of light rain heavy rain for western california state western mexcio southern vermont state southeast manie state 60-100% heavy rain 3-12 inches of rain flooding diffrent parts of those area winter snow storm for western alaska state truckee and donner pass tahoe city on highway 99 california state northern michigan northern manie state marinetime canada 6-12 inches of snow blowing and drifting snow visibilty be at 0 very dangerous drving and snow pack and whiteout and icy roads condition bizzard warning for nu canada 3-6 inches of snow blowing and drifting snow visibilty be at 0 very dangerous drving and snow pack and whiteout and icy roads condition snowfall for higher mountain or flatland area for alaska state yukon canada nu canada bc canada mountains washington oregon california idaho nevada az state new mexcio colorado utah western wy state southwestern montaba state southern nebraska state kansas state missouri state west virgina state northern minnsota state fort france and thunder bay ontario canada 4 great lake area wisconsin michigan state northern ontario canada yougtowns ohio state western pa state ny state upper eastern state quebec canada marinetime canada 3-12 inches of snow blowing and drifting snow visibilty be at 0 very dangerous drving and snow pack and whiteout and icy roads condition frezzing rain warning for Chapleau - Gogama Timmins - Cochrane Wawa - White River - Pukaskwa ontario canada and quebec canada 1-3 inches of frezzing rain very dangerous drving and icy roads condition none sever thunderstorm northern florida state southern georiga state sc state nc state norfolk virgina state maybe sever isolated thunderstorm high wind warning for western alaska state all way nu canada western canada minnsota state upper mid western state nebraska state kansas oklanhoma texas minnsota iowa missouri arkansas parts of southern state tn state ky state 4 great lake area wisconsin il state indania ohio michigan state ontario canada pa state ny state quebec canada eastern canada 20 or 37 mph winds wind warning for northwestern alaska state all way nu canada western canada northwestern ontario canada minnsota state upper mid western state nebraska state wy state colorado state kansas state northern quebec canada windchill be at -40 or -9 very cold weather for yall frost warning for alaska state all way nu canada parts of western canada minnsota upper mid western state northwestern ontario canada northern quebec canada black roads icy condition and very dangerous drving on icy bridge condition foggy or ice foggy for western canada western state montana state wy state all way down florida state sc and nc state all way up 4 great lake area wisconsin il state indania ohio michigan state ontario canada ny state quebec canada visibilty be at 0-2 miles very dangerous drving and thick foggy or ice foggy condition right till by morning lift off by afternoon be caution keep eyes on it yall tune weather channel weather network wx cb radio scanner weather radio cell phone or desktop laptop tablet weather yall be safe drive safe god bless yall bigger both thumbs up drivers everybody else here :) 10-4
