good morning everyone, new moon blessings. . little flat again today, but suns out so that will help. a day in garden cutting back this hedge by hand, but hey should brown up a bit more, maybe a walk later, a casting out ceremony was done last night, and tonight a keep and gain being done. . a mixture of good byes and thanks givings. we are only 5 day away before the next turn of the wheel. lughnasadh, the harvest festival, were we honor our irish lord god lugh, our sun deity. the making of corn dollys and the singing of john barleycorn,are some of the age old traditions we do. this is a time of plenty, were no one worrys about food. i myself will be gathering corn this year, and having a go at dolly making. brought myself a country craft book from the charity shop the other day to help. lol what ever your day holds remember today is the day of new beginnings!!!! hooray. glad to see the arse end of the last moon. and really looking forward to moving on to the next. :-) brightest blessings. )0( xxx
