good morning folks it rained during the nite,,,,,,,,,,,,or earlier this morningI heard the pitter patter on the roof,,,,meegwetch for this day ,,,theres blueberries but I dont know where theyre getting them cause I bought 8 pails latnite,,,,,,,,,,,Im so happy to have some for the winter today we go to get something else we will need for winter ,but we will have to do a lot of rendering ,,,,,,such is the life of anishinabek ,,,,we are gatherers ,teachers,mentors and most of all parents to our future leaders,,,,listen to your youth ,folks I went to a community just last week where it was predominantly Christian,,,,,,,one former chief I spoke with said the youth told the elders that they want sweatlodges ceremonies and powwows ,,,this is happening now ,,,,thats why its so important that the youth be heard,,,,,,,,,,for they will be our leaders someday,,,,have a terrific day my buddies ,,,NANA,,,,,,
