good news. I was there when the OT came in. She is doing the eletro on him. I showed her about this left arm and how he was able to do a little pulling up . and then she had him do it with her. She was pleased. On the right side. while she had the electros on the upper arm near the shoulder, you could see the mussels reacting to the eletros. and she also saw movement with the elbow. she asked him to shrug his shoulders. and she saw movement on his right shoulder. that was just a little but it move by it self. They are going to change the size of his trach,it currently is 9 and going to 8. So this why he has to do more work on breathing. With that change it should help bring the phlegm down. do not know how to spell the word I want but that will give you an general idea of what I am trying to say. Also, the girls told me just as soon as they saw me, that, he spoke to them. It was like clear as a bell as one put it. they were excited to him him speak. Once he gets the strength in his right side they are going to work with him to use both hands and arms to push off the bed on to the wheel chair. so they can get him in the area that has weights, and all the other equipment. So things are looking better each day.
