gosh, i am having a hard time figuring out how to arrange these - TopicsExpress

gosh, i am having a hard time figuring out how to arrange these new songs. at first, i thought i absolutely knew! but then i wake up in the morning and hear the same song in my mind in a completely different way; if its a ballad, all of a sudden i hear it faster with a groove. if its originally a latin feel, then i want to swing it. i sing and then write down all these different ways to do the songs and then i sit at the piano in a stupor, getting tied up in knots over the vastness of the options. this has never happened to me before - i usually can hear the tune and away we go! but now it seems im hearing every possible arrangement all at once! and i cant make up my mind!! arrrgghh!!!! this current phenomenon is making me wonder if im forcing things...or just trying too hard. sigh...
