got COMPLETELY lost in the dunes at 12 noon time - trying to shake off a weird guy whistling and waiving at me whos been watching me taking pictures of the dunes for 30 minutes. Im usually good with directions, but these dunes really got me... I ended up walking for almost 2 hours through bushes in the middle of nowhere thinking Ill find the right path just as I walk over just one more dune, but no I didnt recognize the area and got tangled even more... Surrounded by big piles of boiling sand - not to mention I run out of water (3 liters) an hour before, burned soles of my feet even while wearing flip flops, completely covered in sand that got stuck on my sun protecting cream, I somehow manage to find a house and ask for directions.... Made it home in disbelief this just happened....
