got some PRO-CURE double red UV to try for the first time for NOOKS...stopped by the cleaning station and fished two extremely small skeins from a silver and took them home and did my thing. tried the jar method,ive always used borax/etc dry cure in a Ziploc bag but decided to do the jar method this time. they turned purple right off the bat then juiced majorly. then as per instructions i turned them over after removing excess juice. leaving them until tomm evening then turning them over for another 24hrs then straining them then cutting them into bait sized pcs,rolling in straight borax then packing them and freezing them....im an old school curer whos fished with a straight borax cure to a 3-2-1 to hybrids of that,never much into ready made cures but wht the heck,it has sulfites in it and when i get some more roe ill try this w/ some krill just to try something diff
