grain-based processed carbs such as cereals, breads, and most pastas contain “anti-nutrients” and gluten that can block fat-loss and potentially lead to various types of autoimmune diseases and internal inflammation. I personally get very bloated from these types of carbs. Thats why I support sticking to a gluten free diet. Not because Im gluten intolerant necessarily but because gluten carbs & some grain carbs will retain lots of water as well. Get your carbs from fruits & vegtables! No one really is carb free. Apples, pears, bananas & sweet potatoes are very high in carbs for example. Another tip- Eat your high carbs around your workouts. They serve as your source for energy as well as body recovery.
