great article benjamin..my mother taught six children to not see the color of a person skin, she taught all of us to get to know someone as a friend you need to see what is on the inside. we have a mixture of colors in our family and my youngest grand-daughter has the best explanation i have ever heard...my nephew kavyn is mixed(his dad played for the nfl-kevin belcher) when she was 5 she heard someone say that kavyn was black, she replied, no hes not black we are all different shades of brown!
