greetings all.....I live in Jamaica and got shot by Chick-v in early November. I still have pain and numbness in my hands and pain in my feet and occasionally knees. I feel overall more weak than before. My stamina is low. I traveled to US to be with family for the holidays and everything got quite a bit worse, probably the stress of traveling and the colder weather. I have the sense that my whole self is affected by this virus, it is more than the symptoms of joint pain. I feel some brain fog which bothers me, and general fatigue. I found this Wikipedia entry to be quite interesting....particularly the statistics about how many people have long term effects. I am really hoping to avoid this......Im trying to get myself into some kind of regimen for remedies......Im using Zyflamend - which is a very good anti-inflammatory herbal mix including turmeric and quite a few other herbs. Beginning coconut oil and may add Olive Leaf extract. Honestly, I am discouraged and a bit worried. But it is giving me the opportunity to explore my own healing on many levels, and for that I am thankful.....
