*gulp* The biggest hurdle so far... is upon me. Time to construct a phd dissertation proposal and progress report. Have to present it in 13 days. In my case, this means writing much of a dissertation thats not even due until next July. The questions swirl in my head. Is my topic unique enough? Is it narrow enough? Will anyone care about it? Do I know enough about it? Is it too late to change my mind and study computational aptitude in squirrels? Other distractions this weekend: ------------------------------------------ 1) gotta grade 60+ quizzes by Wednesday 2) gotta finish IEEE Syscon paper #1 (4500 words) by Monday 3) gotta finish IEEE Syscon paper #2 (3000 words) by Monday 4) gotta finish journal paper (15000 words) by December 5) gotta collab with my phd counterpart & advisor in Oslo by Wednesday 6) gotta get up to speed for Marine Robotics Club autonomous boat project by Tuesday 7) oh yeah, and gotta research more Probably should clean, pressure clean my house and walkways, wash my car, organized my junk drawers, replace the hardware in all the toilets, do my laundry, etc too. #startthecloningmachine #gradlifeproblems
